8/09 — Anvil Dataworks launches as a division of Corporate Network Services at FileMaker Devcon 09, with the express purpose to focus specifically on FileMaker development, support and training. “Spinning off this group into its own entity gives our customers a better experience,” says CEO Karen Kalantzis.

8/09 —The entire Anvil Dataworks team becomes Certified FileMaker 10 Developers.

7/09 — Attention DevCon 09 attendees, meet with twittering FM Developers at the first annual Tweetup, August 13 at 9:00 PM at the Rye Bar in San Francisco.

6/09 — FileMaker developers Wayman Ka, Sameer Khan, and Biran Su are among the first to pass the difficult FileMaker 10 certification exam!

6/09 — The FileMaker 10 Certification Exam is now available from FileMaker. FileMaker developers can prepare for the exam by taking our FileMaker Training Series class being offered June 15 - 18 and September 22 -25, or by taking our one-on-one Boot Camp Training session.

4/09 — FileMaker Advisor magazine will feature an article about dashboarding written by FileMaker Certified Developer Charles Melton.

3/09 —Federal FileMaker user group is revamped by opening the group to all users and developers in the Washington, DC area. The new group is called DC FileMaker and the first meeting is May 6 at NIH in Rockville. Visit www.dcfilemaker.com to join the group and register.

3/09 —Certified FileMaker developer, Charles Melton, travels to Honduras to train users on a patient management database we developed for CURE.

1/09 — The Washington Business Journal names us as the 9th largest IT training company in the Washington Metro area, as ranked by enrollment in 2008. This is the company's 6th time on the list.
